Does Rana Know About ‘Acceptance’?

Rana Daggubati has somehow managed to waste all the Baahubali hype. After Baahubali duology’s blockbuster success, Rana hasn’t tested much of a success.

Rana’s latest outing Virata Parvam is being termed as an honest attempt. But the reviews are weak and the word of mouth isn’t great either. The film has gotten off to a horrid start at the box office.

The thing with Rana is that after Baahubali, he hasn’t been planning his career well. He is going after experimental films.

There’s nothing wrong in doing experimental films, but before that, a hero should build a solid market for himself. Rana is lacking in this aspect.

Rana hasn’t focused on the audience acceptance and he has being going heavy on offbeat films. This could be the reason behind Virata Parvam’s poor numbers and also that of his previous film, Aranya.

While star heroes pick commercial subject after tasting big success and increase their market, Rana has gone the other way around and the bitter results are a consequence of the same.
