Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger will have a cameo by Legendary Boxing Champion, Mike Tyson. It was a massive casting coup for the entire Indian cinema when the team announced his name. The team will fly to the United States later this year for shooting with the legend.

The team is waiting for the United States to allow commercial flights from India in November. Meanwhile, there is a rumor that Liger team is paying more remuneration to Mike Tyson than Vijay Deverakonda himself. But then, somehow, it does not make sense.

It makes no sense to pay Mike Tyson so much and bring him on board probably for a small cameo. If that is true, it will outweigh the benefits Mike Tyson will bring in. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda already announced that the movie will release only in 2022.
