Dohchay Overseas premieres report

Naga Chaitanya’s Dohchay is released today to average talk in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie openings are very poor owing to a variety of reasons like not so good talk, rains and lack of publicity. The movie even failed to impress the Overseas audience too. The US distributor chalked out an intelligent plan for the movie release there with less number of theaters and a modest 12$ Premiere ticket price.

But still Overseas audience are not dragged to theaters. The movie just raked $41K from the Thursday Premieres which is very low. Given that the reviews are also not so encouraging, the movie may not pull off any wonders in Overseas and its business should close by the end of the first weekend.

Aided by the presence of ANR and Nagarjuna, Manam is the biggest hit of Naga Chaitanya in Overseas collecting as much as One Million dollars in US alone. Oka Laila Kosam and Autonagar Surya that released later have all fizzed out at the box office in Overseas indicating Chai is yet to open his account there.
