Reputed director Shankar is known in the industry for his grandiose ways with regards to the making of his films. Latest in this regard is that he has managed to bring in the renowned Stan Winston Studios, for Rajini’s Enthiran, and Weta Workshop for Vikram’s I. It is important to note here that the well-known Stan Winston Studios have been involved in the making of Hollywood hits like Terminator and Jurassic Park. On the other hand, Weta Workshop is a studio backed by the Oscar-winning-director Peter Jackson and his companion Richard Taylor, and have successful films like Avatar, Lord Of The Rings & The Hobbit under their belt.

As for the shooting itself, news has reached us that in a recently shot song sequence, the Tamil superstar Vikram had a special make-up done by Weta Workshop artist Sean Foot. The actor believed to be made up as a mannequin.
