Scenes Deleted After Release: Will It Help?

Yesterday’s theatrical debutant Double Ismart opened to rather mixed reviews. While there are certain mass sequences in the film, there were also complaints about certain cringe scenes as well.

The main complaint was about the comedy sequences featuring Ali which had a very cringe vibe.

Ali’s look, his pervert mannerisms and the whole adulterated track was unanimously lambasted by the audience and critics alike. These scenes surfaced on social media as well from theatrical prints and they became a crying fest on socials as well.

Luckily, the makers were rather quick to react to this negative feedback as they have taken evasive action on this matter.

As per the latest update, the cringe comedy scenes of Ali were removed from the theatrical cut, it seems. These scenes are chopped off, making the film that much more crisp and non-allergic.

Puri and Ali had earlier rolled out remarkable comedy tracks including Desamudhuru and Pokiri but Double Ismart is a huge let down.

These perverse scenes served no purpose and only let the film down further and hence, the makers were forced to act on the same.
