Doubts On Pawan Kalyan’s Choice

It is all but confirmed that Nithya Menen will be pairing with Pawan Kalyan in the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum. She plays Pawan’s wife in the social drama which is being directed by Sagar Chandra and she was the prime choice of the latter for the character.

In the original, the protagonist’s wife is shown as a naxalite sympathiser. This character is one of the driving forces of the film. In fact, this particular character acts as the propeller of the core conflict between the two lead characters.

Here comes the big question. Can Nithya Menen, who is know for her homely and girl-next-door looks reprise the role of naxalite sympathiser? Does her demeanor and persona gel with the specifications of a fundamentally antisocial character? These doubts will be answered only after the film releases.

On a related note, rumors are rife that talented Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh pairs with Rana Daggubati in the film. She too is said to have bagged a meaty role.
