A special screening for the film Drishyam has been held in the afternoon today. People from the industry and distributors have reportedly attended this screening according to the sources. Already reports too have started flying about the well being of the movie post this special screening.
From the few opinions that have surfaced so far it seems Venkatesh has done justice to the character he has taken as a challenge. It is the first time in the actors career that he has attempted a Mohan Lal remake who as everyone knows is a very difficult actor to emulate. Also going by this initial response the film looks sure to get good critical acclaim. Now the real question is will it get a similar public mandate?
