This Diwali, several new films have hit the box office, including Dude, Telusu Kada, and Mitra Mandali. Another film, K Ramp, is set to release tomorrow, October 18.
Based on current audience preferences, early trends show which films are drawing attention. According to BookMyShow’s hourly booking data, Dude is leading among the new releases.
Dude is selling around 12,000 tickets per hour on BookMyShow, while Telusu Kada is at about 1,680 tickets per hour. Mitra Mandali hasn’t yet appeared on the hourly trending list.
These figures reflect the situation at the time of reporting and may change later. As of now, Dude seems to have taken the strongest start among the fresh releases.
Telusu Kada could still pick up through offline bookings and walk-ins for evening and night shows. A clear picture of the box office openings will emerge tomorrow once the theatrical share data comes in. For now, Dude looks set for a stronger opening.
