As we had mentioned some time ago Eros is making its debut into the Telugu film industry with Mahesh Babu starrer 1 Nenokkadine. Talks have been going on for the past month or so and now finally and agreement seems to have been made between the two parties. 1 Nenokkadine is bought for by Eros for a previously unheard of sum of almost 72 Cr, according to the sources. This 72 Cr includes all the rights such as AP theatrical rights, overseas and satellite rights as well.
1 Nenokkadine is produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta on 14 Reels Entertainment banner. It has been reported from a very long time that the making of the film had cost them a bomb. Sources in the industry say that its more than 60 Cr making it the highest budget movie ever in the history of Telugu cinema at this point of time. With this fabulous deal the makers have surely recovered their huge investment, now the onus is on the Eros to recover their investment. What do you think, is it a safe price for Eros to recover?
