Leading production house Eros International has some great news for Tamil audiences. The company, which is currently going to distribute Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan, has announced that it will distribute the next films of actors Vijay and Ajith. This means that these films will have pan-India release if Eros releases these films in maximum number of screens.
This is an interesting move by Eros, who seem to be cashing in on the most successful Tamil actors at the box-office. They are backing the films of actors who promise higher returns on investments. This explains why Eros has not invested in Suriya because except Singam 2, his last few films have bombed at the ticket window.
Does this mean will Eros also apply similar strategy in Telugu with star films such as Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu. If yes, then it will be good times for Telugu industry as audiences all over the country can get to watch a Telugu film.
