Even Spoofs Didn’t Rescue Vaitla!

Srinu Vaitla’s famous spoofs are working big time against him and no doubts are left after watching KA Paul’s spoof episodes in ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. Satya did the role and though the actor did his part well, the poor writing failed him, big way. The spoof was much publicized before the release only to disappoint the audiences.

There are a whole lot of comedians who tried very hard to bring laughs but failed and again due to poor writing by the director. Vennela Kishore who has been in terrific form got a role that has a lengthy screen presence but with little to create humour. His effort is visible and that ease was missing because even his role was poorly written and he was trying really very hard to impress with old-fashioned comedy.

The WATA spoof on TANA was nothing like Srinu Vaitla said. It was dragged and unconvincing. The bunch of comedians failed to convince and impress the audiences. All the above-said credits go to the failure of the director who failed in writing an engaging script and therefore, has come up with weak direction. Isn’t it high time that he realises his shortcomings and outdatedness?
