Exclusive: Salaar Preponing Release Date?

There’s a clash in the making this Christmas weekend, with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ and Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ both set to hit the screens. ‘Dunki’ recently surprised everyone by preponing its release date by one day. Now it is releasing on December 21st.

Naturally, it was expected that ‘Salaar’ would follow suit as no one wanted to give a solo release for another film in competition and share the screens from the next day.

Rumors circulated yesterday suggesting that ‘Salaar’ might release two days earlier on December 20th, giving it a one-day solo run before facing off with ‘Dunki’ on the 21st.

However, our exclusive sources close to the ‘Salaar’ team have confirmed that there’s no change in the release date. ‘Salaar’ will stick to the initially announced date of December 22nd.

Shah Rukh Khan’s decision to advance ‘Dunki’s’ release date was considered a smart move by the trade experts. Being the first to release, ‘Dunki‘ secures priority when it comes to screen selection and show counts. This unprecedented move could potentially turn a regular working Thursday into a national holiday, given SRK’s massive fan following.

The release date for ‘Salaar’ remains set for December 22nd, and it will be interesting to see how this clash unfolds.

Meanwhile, fans of Prabhas are gearing up for a grand celebration of the actor’s 44th birthday. The actor’s widespread popularity has his fans across Telugu States planning extraordinary birthday festivities and actively sharing their excitement on social media as they wait for updates about his forthcoming movies.
