Audio: Simple, Situational And Passable

After Vinaya Vidheya Rama, we have yet another album F2 with music by Devi Sri Prasad. The expectations are low given the director Anil Ravipudi’s past track record, and also the music director’s recent form.

F2 (Fun N Frustration) is a passable album that reflects the past musical tastes of director Anil Ravipudi. A melody, an item song, a fast-paced beat single, and folk beat are all there. Most are situational though with peppy beats thrown in between. The simple and predictable tunes with those beats make F2 album a passable, at best, overall.

Only “Entho Fun” stands out, but even that is spoiled with Devi Sri Prasad lending the voice. F2, however, isn’t a disappointment as not much was expected to begin with given the combination. They all could work well on screen, but even with great picturization and placement, the songs don’t appear to be the kind that will have a long life.

F2 starring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen will release worldwide on January 12th amidst high competition. Dil Raju produces the movie, and he will be hoping to repeat the magic of the year 2017 in 2019 again.
