There is huge anticipation among the masses, as Seetimaarr is set to hit cinemas in a few days for Vinayaka Chavithi weekend. It has been a long time since a mass movie has come outing catering to the smaller centre audience.
In a way, the situation is similar to Krack when it arrived. It was the first mass movie for Telugu mass audience after almost a year. Ravi Teja, similarly, was going through a low phase. Gopichand Malineni previously worked with Ravi Teja and gave him the required break. He was expected to repeat the same. And he hit it out of the park.
Similarly, director Sampath Nandi has worked with Gopichand in the past. He gave the actor a moderate grosser, which is far better than anything else during the same period. Now, Sampath Nandi is expected to deliver again.
Seetimaarr hits the cinemas on September 10th. It is a sports drama, but there are a lot of mass elements. If the movie gets the good talk, it will be the biggest Telugu grosser post the resumption of theatrical business after the second wave. We have to see if it can also become career-best for Gopichand or not.
