Rubabu is the tentative title of the upcoming film of Jr NTR that is being made in the direction of Puri Jagannadh. And when it’s a Puri Jagannadh film, the first thing that many like to enquire about is the music director of the film. This is because of the track record of the filmmaker in delivering chartbuster albums. So when the film was initially in discussion stages it was said that Devi Sri Prasad would be composing music for the film.
Later though, when the film was officially confirmed by producer Bandla Ganesh it as reported that the music director of the film would be SS Thaman. However reports coming out now suggest that the music director would be Devi Sri Prasad only. May be it’s because of repetition of SS Thaman as music director for Jr NTR films, this decision would have been taken at the last minute. Whatever may be the reason fans are happy as they get a change in music director of their favourite hero’s film after some gap. The last three films of the star had music by SS Thaman. Rubabu goes onto sets in the coming month.
