Film with Kamal Haasan not confirmed: Teja

There’s been strong buzz that Telugu director Teja is directing Kamal Haasan in a straight Telugu film. Although, the director confirmed meeting the legendary actor, but has quickly clarified that nothing has been finalized as of now and that they have only discussed few ideas.

Teja said that he did meet Kamal Haasan recently but he doesn’t want to share what they discussed. He, however, admitted that it was always his dream to direct the legend. While Kamal predominantly works in Tamil, he has also starred in several Telugu films such as “Eenadu”, “Swati Mutyam” and “Sagara Sangamam”. Kamal usually doesn’t like to work in languages he’s not comfortable with. The reason he did few films in Telugu because it was offered to him by some legends such as K. Vishwanath and many more. He couldn’t say no to these filmmakers.

Let’s wait and find out if this project will ever materialize. Kamal is currently busy shooting for ‘Uttama Villain’ and he’s also waiting the release of ‘Vishwaroopam 2’.
