Films for happiness, Yami’s success mantra

Yami Gautham became a overnight star with Vicky Donor, but since the release of the film she hasn’t worked in a Hindi film yet. Although she worked in a few Telugu and Tamil films but avoided Hindi films. However, Yami clarifies that she didn’t avoid Hindi films and was only waiting for the right film to come her way.

She said that she doesn’t like to do a bad after Vicky Donor, and therefore, waited for a project she knew would be received well by the audience. The young actress also said that the success or failure of a film doesn’t bother her but what’s most important to her is whether she enjoyed working or not. Yami is aware of the competition around her but she is not backed down by it because she thinks it’s the appreciation of the audience for an actor that matters the most to her.

Yami is currently busy with a couple of south Indian projects such as Courier Boy Kalyan and its Tamil version. The trailer of her next Hindi film titled Total Siyappa was recently unveiled and in it she plays a Punjabi who falls in love with a Pakistani boy.
