Finding replacement for Brahmanandam?

It wasn’t just the change of the genre, for Srinu Vaitla it seems to be a complete makeover from the image he had created for himself. It didn’t come as a surprise when Srinu Vaitla’s next project with Ram Charan Tej isn’t going to be his usual action comedy entertainer. As per the updates available, Cherry’s movie might probably turn out to be an action thriller rather than action comedy.

Besides the mammoth change in the genre, cine critics are also speculating another important change in Vaitla’s new projects. Brahmanandam who gets the mega share in the success of Srinu Vaitla’s superhit movies is probably going to be replaced in Cherry’s movie. And it is said that Tamil star comedian, Santhanam might enter Vaitla’s camp.

Vaitla has always given principal characters to Brahmanandam, which had the capacity to carry the entire second half of his movies filling in the lapses in the narration. At some point, audiences started feeling that Brahmi is getting too repetitive. However, in Tollywood there is no other comedian who has the range to replace Brahmi. Can Santhanam really do the job?
