First step towards shifting administration to AP

Andhra Pradesh government had given a G.O for the construction of the Temporary Secretariat in Amaravati. This temporary secretariat will come in 20 acres site in Amaravati township near Mangalagiri.

According to the G.O, CRDA will call for the tenders and the construction have to be completed by June 30th next year. This construction is expected to cost 180 Crore for the state exchequer.

The state government will be giving 90 Crore interest free loan and the remaining 90 Crore will be obtained as a Loan from HUDCO. The construction will be done using Prefab or Precasting technology and it will create an office space of six lakh square feet.
