From Murder to Fraud: Actress arrested again

She has already served three-year jail sentence for destroying evidence in a murder case of a TV producer and came was released in 2012. But this actress seems to be back to the ways that land her in jail. Kannada actress Maria Susairaj was arrested by Vadodara, Gujarat Police for duping 1200 pilgrims.

She was held for duping of Rs.2.68 Crore. She ans her business partner opened a travel agency, in fact a air-ticket booking agency and booked tickets for 12oo Haj pilgrims. Then she and her partner cancelled the tickets and got the money keeping the passengers unaware of their tickets being cancelled.

While she was arrested at her residence in Mysuru in Karnataka and was handed over to the crime branch for investigation, her partner has been absconding.
