Gaami Gets Last-Minute Push

An ‘Adults Only’ certificate (A) for a film was once considered a curse in the industry, as it meant limited business due to families avoiding theaters.

However, recent successes like “Animal” and “Salaar” have turned this notion on its head overnight. Now, an A certificate has become a cause for excitement among audiences, promising more violence, gore, and thrilling elements.

In fact, a film with an A certificate is actually becoming its USP if the film is well-made with full conviction.

The upcoming movie “Gaami,” helmed by Vishwak Sen, has been granted an ‘A’ certificate by the censor board, indicating it’s not suitable for family audiences.

This can become a promotional boost for the film. Due to the A certificate, the audiences will now anticipate a gripping no-holds-barred experience, expecting Gaami to deliver intense thrills and engaging moments throughout its runtime.

Starring Vishwak Sen as an Aghora, “Gaami” is a spiritual thriller featuring raw episodes, action sequences, and violence. Certain scenes, particularly those set in the Himalayas, were deemed too intense for children, leading to the A certification.

We have to wait and see if Gaami turns out to be another A-certificate film after Animal and Salaar to become a success.
