Game Changer Free Tickets In North India?

Game Changer’s Hindi Collections have come under severe criticism. Box Office India, a leading Bollywood B.O. Tracking Website says ‘Block Bookings’ have contributed so much for the film collections (21 Crore Nett in the first weekend) so far.

Interestingly, something happened last night.

An X handle that posts Deals published some codes of a Popular Ticketing Website. These Codes when applied gives free tickets for Game Changer. Only the Booking Fee and the Internet Handling Fees levied by the portal.

For example, in INOX: Megaplex in Malad, Game Changer each ticket costs 610 Rupees. For a booking of two tickets, you get 1,220 Rupees off and there is a convenience charge of 142 Rupees. The user can only pay 142 Rupees and watch the film.

The terms and conditions of the codes are they do not apply to the cinemas in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala meaning that they are applicable only for the North India. Also, the codes were only applicable for Sunday bookings.

There is no limit in the number of tickets one can book or the amount one can redeem. This is very unusual and unheard of. The Portals give discounts but not to the extent of giving tickets completely free.

Several Social Media users posted on X that they have redeemed the codes.

There are allegations on social media that this is a way to inflate the movie collections.

After the 186 Crore First Day Fake Collections poster, this has become a huge controversy on social media.
