GG Beats MCA First Week In Five Days Flat

Geetha Govindam in its extended weekend (five days) has beaten the first week of tier 2 highest opening week set by Nani’s Middle Class Abbayi. The former has crossed 30 Cr share in five days whereas the latter fell short of it by few lakhs.

Coming to the holiday advantage, that would be the most obvious response, both Geetha Govindam and MCA had one its opening week. While it was opening day for GG, it was on the first Monday for MCA. The only issue here is the additional clash factor for MCA.

The Vijay Deverakonda starrer has done terrific business all over. It has been strong in Telugu states and outside as well. In the US, it has been sensational which gave the additional push in the weekend numbers.

The way the sixth day is going so far, it might not be a real stretch to imagine if Geetha Govindam closes in on MCA’s full run in the extended first week itself. We have to see the next few days trend for that though. For now, Geetha Govindam is the new record holder for the opening week among the tier two heroes.
