Of late, sequels have been ruling the roost at the box office. Now, we have Geethanjali sequel titled ‘Geethanjali Malli Vachindi’ and the makers have dropped the trailer which highlights horror moments and also the entertainment blocks.
The trailer begins with a film director, played by Srinivas Reddy, narrating a scene to Anjali in a house set. Sunil takes on the role of DOP for the horror film, with Anjali, Satyam Rajesh, Satya, and others seen as actors. Things take an awry turn after the introduction of the horror elements.
The film crew eventually realizes that it’s not a set but an actual haunted house, and then the fun and chaos begin. The blend of horror elements and entertainment which was seen in the first part is carried in the sequel as well.
This appears to be a faithful sequel to a horror comedy that worked the first time around and the same traits are now used for the second part as well.
The film is produced by MVV Satyanarayana and GV under MVV Cinema & Kona Film Corporation banners. The film is releasing worldwide on April 11th. Can it match the success of the first part? We shall wait and see.
