Godfather: From Malayalam To Malayalam!

Megastar Chiranjeevi will next be seen in Godfather which is up for theatrical release on the 5th of October. The makers have now come with an interesting release plan.

Godfather will reportedly be released in Malayalam. Wonder why this is an interesting reason? Here’s the story.

Godfather is a remake of Malayalam monstrous box office blockbuster Lucifer. It is one of the biggest blockbusters of all time in Malayalam cinema.

Now, Godfather which itself is a remake of a Malayalam film is set to release in the very same language, albeit dubbed again.

Not often do we see remakes being released in their own home language for obvious reason that everyone would’ve watched it already. But that isn’t the case with Godfather now which is going from Malayalam to Malayalam.

But what needs to be noted here is that Godfather has two superstars Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan in the lead roles. Will this be able to pull Malayalam audience to theatres again? We have to wait and see.
