Guna targets next big Telugu festival for RD

Director known for making grand films Guna Sekhar is getting ready with a new film which we all know. What many might not know is that the film is almost completed and only waiting for the right time to release.

Rudrama Devi has been made on big budget and hence the makers were looking for a right window to release the film. Earlier they looked at Christmas to release but there were multiple releases back then. It was followed by makers aiming for Sankranthi but with I making it to the season, Rudrama Devi got postponed again. Now the team is looking at next big Telugu festival Ugadi which falls in the last week of March.

With a March last week release, there is twin advantage of the film escaping the World Cup fever as well as avoiding the competition from other biggies. Will it finally get released on the said date or will it get postponed further? We have to wait and see in a patient manner.
