Hansika’s Religious Avatar, Again

The makers of Hansika’s upcoming Tamil movie ‘Maha’ seem to be releasing the posters from the movie that are in one way or the other related to the religious sentiments. The first one, of course, led to a controversy as Hansika was seen in a Sadhvi avatar and smoking a cigarette in a free-spirited, nonchalant manner.

The latest poster has a different kind of religious connotations. Hansika was seen in a Muslim girl avatar folding her hands in prayer. This one has nothing to create a controversy of any kind and it looks like the makers released this poster to nullify the impact of the controversial poster they had released, previously. However, the backdrop of the poster has a mosque and Hansika in an aggravated state pointing a revolver towards herself.

The movie is helmed by director UR Jameel who maintains that he doesn’t want to court unnecessary religious controversies and hence, the controversial look of Hansika in the smoking hot avatar as a Sadhvi with a cigarette will be removed from the movie. Anyway, the movie has got enough publicity through this controversy.
