He Didn’t Allow Prabhas to Cheat

It must have been quite an experience for cameraman Madhi to shoot for the 8-minute long high-octane action sequence for ‘Saaho‘ with a technical team with hundreds of technicians working with the cameras and the angles.

Unlike the regular action sequences in the Indian movies that cheat with a lot of computer graphics, the Hollywood Stunt Coordinator Kelly Bates chose not to cheat the audiences. Kelly Bates chose to stick to the speed of the original chase and shot every scene with the same high speed that must look on the screen. Kudos!

For that, he has flown his own Evo car from Hollywood to fit special camera high-end and sophisticated equipment to shoot the challenging action sequence. So, a high-speed chase on the screen means a high-speed chase in reality, as well. This must be lauded as the first ever realistic action episode that has got more than 80% real stunts and only the rest will be done by graphics.
