Tollywood is not yet done with the re-releases trend. If anything, this trend is being taken to another level, with the forthcoming birthday trend on the occasion of Prabhas’s birthday.
As Prabhas celebrates his birthday on the 23rd of this month, a wild celebration is being observed. Interestingly more than five films of Prabhas are gearing up for release on the same day.
Going by the reports on social media, the likes of Salaar, Chatrapathi, Chakram, Mr Perfect, Billa, and others are being re-released on the same day. There could be more additions to the list.
It isn’t like these re-releases are being planned by the team either. They are being planned by fans at an individual capacity on the occasion of Prabhas’s birthday.
The usual trend is that all fans unite to celebrate one single re-release on the occasion of their hero’s birthday. This was seen in the case of Pokiri, Jalsa, and Indra.
But in the case of Prabhas’s birthday, shockingly more than five films of the same hero are being released on the same day. Something like this was never before seen.
