One N.Ganeshan of Dindigul district filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against the actor for encroaching the water body and setting up an electrical fence. Besides this encroachment, there were also allegations that Madhavan encroached the government land and planted saplings in that place.
When this complaint to hearing in High Court, it issued notices o be served to he actor at his present residence in Mumbai. And the case is also posted to 11th July. The petitioner acquired the information with the help of Right to Information Act.
