“Historical” race heats up for Baahubali

Things like this couldn’t be imagined even in the wildest dream before the release of the film Baahubali but that is how things have finally turned out.

Baahubali is now in a position where the Telugu and Hindi versions are competing with each other to reach the 100 Cr mark first. Of course one must keep in mind here that the while the Telugu version is “Share” in Hindi it’s the “Nett” Gross number one is talking about.

As things stand today Baahubali has collected a share of close to 93 Cr in two Telugu states, on the other hand it has collected approximately 87 Cr Nett in Hindi with the dubbed version. Both the versions are now racing for the landmark 100 Cr. We have to wait and see which version gets to the mark first.

Whichever version achieves first, it will be a historical moment as no film before in TFI has collected 100 Cr share in Telugu, not individually even with combining two film. Similarly in Hindi, no dubbed film has so far collected 50 Cr leave alone 100 Cr and that’s why its such a historical moment.

Which version do you think would reach the magical number first? Will it be Telugu (Tollywood) or Hindi (Bollywood)?
