Baahubali’s partial release in Kerala

It comes as a big shock for the ‘Baahubali’s expected dream run that Malayalam version of the mega movie isn’t going to open in theatres in Kerala because of the ongoing strike. Mollywood is strike stricken because of the piracy devil which killed the highly successful film ‘Premam’ from having a dream run.

Except in multiplexes and government owned theatres, Baahubali wouldn’t be able to screen on the opening day in Kerala. It’s not only Baahubali, but other Malayalam movies in theatres would have to stop screening. It’s highly disappointing that Kerala Film Federation decided to continue the strike on piracy.

The expected wide release of ‘Baahubali’ isn’t going to become true in Kerala and the exhibitors didn’t want to go back on strike for the sake of ‘Baahubali’ which went for worldwide release on Friday. Not that it is totally absent in Kerala but confined to multiplexes, Baahubali makers didn’t expect this shock.
