The short appearance of Aanchal Munjal in Pushpa 2: The Rule did attract the attention of the fans, but her later remarks regarding the film’s editing have become a matter of concern. She stated that the scenes for the final version of Pushpa 2 were quite shortened while she was loved.
The title track of Pushpa 2 caught the attention of Sukumar’s team. Then, experienced actress Aanchal was finalized. A dialogue-free brief cameo she appeared in left her with an unexpected opportunity in a big-budget film.
Aanchal revealed that of the three moments she shot, which included many close-ups, only one made it to the final cut. In cuts that did not make it, fans kept commenting on her beauty, and she even hinted that the cuts might be there in Pushpa 3.
Her story depicts how editing, especially in cameo appearances, can impact the visibility of an actor. Aanchal had very little on-screen time, but she had left an impact and made everyone wonder about the final decisions taken in the editing room.
The logic of Aanchal is going to reveal how the editing choices may affect an actor’s performance. Aanchal’s possible comeback will allow her to come back strong in a bigger role as the fans eagerly await Pushpa 3.
