Hot Discussion: 500 Cr Adipurush Vs Less Than 10% Budget Film

Prabhas’s Adipurush is nothing short of a shock to the trade, audience, and the fans. The teaser shook the entire ecosystem with Ramayana given a different twist.

Right Wing ecosystem called it an Islamic twist and further, the cheap quality graphics did not do justice to the range of Prabhas or the scale of the film running into several 100s of Crores.

Owing to the bad feedback, the movie had to be postponed to June and the team is trying to redo something to make the output better.

Meanwhile, Teja Sajja’s HanuMan teaser dropped today. It is about Hanuman and so there is a correlation to the subject of  Adipurush.  And it has become a social media discussion now.

The VFX part of the film is much authentic than Adipurush even though it is not at all comparable in terms of resources and budget available to the Prabhas-starer.

And then, there is this clarity of the director. Om Raut despite being a Bollywood director and with the experience of directing stars could not do justice to an epic like Ramayana.

“HanuMan director Prashanth Varma may be half the age and his experience is much less. But he did not miss the basic like one should not tamper with an epic like Ramayana. He also stood true to the characters unlike Om Raut who made a fun of characters like HanuMan, Vanarasena, and others ,” Prabhas fans are thundering.

With this unexpected backlash, Om Raut and Adipurush team will have to do better when they resume promotions in Summer. It is difficult to make an impression and it is even difficult to erase a bad impression.
