The postponement of Adipurush to 16 June 2023 has come as a jolt to many. There are also chances that Adipurush will be pushed further because the release date announcement has met with extremely negative reactions from the trade and fans.
On the other hand, Salaar was supposed to release on September 28, 2023, but now due to the postponement of Adipurush, that film also might be pushed ahead.
The trade that includes buyers, distributors, and exhibitors will not be in a position to release two mega-budget Prabhas films within a gap of 2-3 months. So the postponement of Salaar looks inevitable.
Salaar’s director Prashanth Neel was putting all his efforts to wrap up the film in the next few months and he wanted to move on to his next project with NTR pre-productoin work after its release in September. But now with Adipurush releasing in June, he will get stuck with Salaar for next several months. This will make all his career plans go haywire. Sadly, there is no clarity from Neel or producers on whether Salaar is a single-part film or two parts.
Adipurush has turned out to be such a party pooper for all those who are involved with it, directly or indirectly!
