How Did Nani Escape Non-serious Cameos in Kalki?

Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD is doing exceptionally well in North America and Hindi markets, while the Telugu states’ breakeven is awaited. The next few days will give us a clear picture of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

One thing that has surprised everyone was how the director pulled in almost every actor he has a rapport with or has worked with.

Kalki 2898 AD has a bunch of unnecessary cameos, and many wondered why, when you make an attempt at a serious project like Kalki, there is a need to bring in these forced cameos like Jathi Ratnalu director Anudeep, Faria Abdullah, or RGV.

If the setup were more like a regular commercial film, no one would find any fault with it, but has a sincerely made epic film ever had so many unnecessary cameos for no reason?

The good thing is that because they come and go, they didn’t cause much damage, but Vijay Deverakonda’s cameo, though a serious role, was brutally trolled on social media.

Looking at how director Nag Ashwin pulled in every actor he has worked with for a cameo, we must say Nani, who starred in Nag Ashwin’s debut film Yevade Subramanyam, smartly escaped.

For that matter, Nani is closer to the director and producers than most of the actors who appeared in blink-and-miss roles, but he perfectly analyzed the situation and avoided playing a non-serious cameo.
