Hyd City Youngsters averse to film stars

According to a latest survey conducted on 1000 students from 50 schools in Hyderabad, the highest percentage of them are following sports-persons and the following for film stars is considerably very low. The latest trends according to this survey are surprising as the youth is more inclined to sports than films.

When we talk about the overall trends, Facebook, Google Plus and Twitter are popular in the order they are mentioned with 83 percent, 74 percent and 42 percent following from youngsters respectively. Though youngsters seem to be smitten by their smart phones, Lap Tops, desk top computers are most used gadgets for accessing the social media for youngsters.

While 59% of the city youngsters are following sports-persons on various social networking platforms, only four percent are following film stars on Twitter. Following for the celebs in other fields is also comparatively higher; i.e., 52%. Among these, girls are topping the Twitterati charts.
