I Couldn’t Believe He Has 14-Yr Old Son -Akhil

SS Thaman delivered a decent music album for Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming release ‘Mr Majnu’. Akhil has developed a good rapport with ‘Mr Majnu‘ team including Thaman. They had fun while shooting as they all belong to the same age group, at least at heart. Actually, Thaman was like a kid of the lot and very young at heart, says Akhil.

He was the one who used to create unnecessary drama while they were working. Akhil says that he was surprised to know that Thaman has a fourteen-year-old son. But, he doesn’t look like he has a teenage son, does he? That implies they are all the same age group, mentally. There is a talk that Akhil was very interactive with the entire team and it was like an extended family for the Akkineni hero who is testing his luck with ‘Mr Majnu’, once again.

By the way, Akhil felt that the title of the movie was a bit stereotypical but Venky Atluri wanted the title and wanted to show the audiences a young and happy version of Majnu (an ardent lover whose life ended tragically in the past movies). Both Akkineni Nageswar Rao and Nagarjuna did a movie each with the same title. Now, Akhil’s movie has the same title but it was tweaked a bit.
