I don't have status to target anyone in industry!

Sampath Nandi’s next directorial venture, ‘Bengal Tiger’ is going to release on 10th December. This film is going to be a deciding film for him for obvious reasons. There was a dialogue in the promo of the film, in which Ravi Teja says, “I don’t need anyone’s support. I came up ( succeeded) solo.” Is this dialogue targeted on any particular one in the industry?

Director Sampath Nandi tells that the dialogue comes in a particular context where the hero has face off with the villain. It’s not targeted on anyone. He also adds that he neither has the thought nor status to target anybody in the industry. He isn’t going to do that at all. Sampath Nandi says his increased maturity levels can be seen in the making of ‘Bengal Tiger’.

In a recent media interaction, Sampath shared some not so known things. We know ‘Emayindi Ee Vela’ is Sampath’s first movie in Telugu. But he reveals that even before his debut Telugu film, he did a Kannada movie with Upendra with a new producer. But the film didn’t see the light of the day till date due to financial issues though Upendra is a star in Sandalwood.
