I dont understand Politics – Venkatesh

His contemporaries, Chiranjeevi is already in politics and Balakrishna is shifting his focus on to it, Nagarjuna goes political on some occasions but never we have seen Venky trying his hand in politics even when his father is actively involved in Telugu Desam Party. However, the actor is even today not interested in Politics. In an Interview, he said, ” Politics is not my cup of tea. I do not understand it and I guess a honest person like me can not stay in it”.

Instead, the actor says to concentrate on public interest causes, “I do have my share in those things, but I never wanted to publicize them. When you advertise your work, comparisons would come and you simply get carried away”. Recently, the actor acted in an ad commercial of Traffic Police creating awareness in people. He did not charge a penny for it and also announced he is open to more like them.
