I Never Thought of Pawan Kalyan for BAN

Mahesh Babu was seen as an honest politician in ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ and hence, Pawan Kalyan fans felt it would have been nice if Koratala Siva had done this movie with Pawan Kalyan because the Power Star is into politics and the CM role might have helped him, big time.

When asked about this, Koratala Siva denied approaching Pawan Kalyan for this role. He wanted a neutral hero who didn’t have any political image for the CM role. The director didn’t want people to relate to any of the real-time politicians and also wanted to stay away from controversies.

According to the director, Mahesh Babu is the most neutral hero who has zero interest in politics. He wants the audiences to watch the movie as a movie rather than relating to any political leader. So, right from the beginning, the director didn’t think of Pawan Kalyan playing the role. Of course, Pawan Kalyan’s think that this role could have helped their star for the next elections.
