According to the latest reports, Pooja Hegde’s character name in Acharya is said to be Neelambari as well. Pooja Hegde is doing an extended cameo in Acharya, as Ram Charan’s pair in the film. Her character, Neelambari, is said to be a tribal woman, who works with a Naxalite group led by Ram Charan’s character in the film.

The minute Neelambari’s name is heard, one thinks of a strong performance-oriented role. However, considering that Pooja is just playing a cameo in the film, it remains to be seen how much scope she will have for performance.

Acharya is scheduled to release on May 13th worldwide, and there are a lot of expectations on the film. The first song from the film, Laahe Laahe, was released recently, and manage to impress the audience.
