When director Buchi Babu went for narrating the story of ‘Uppena’, Chiranjeevi was all ears and after that, the megastar was like immediately asking Vaishnav Tej if he is doing the movie or else, he was found saying that he would do the movie himself.

That’s the kind of adulation the script got from the megastar and also he was keen to know who would be playing the main villain in the movie. Vijay Sethupathy was the first and the only choice of the director for that father’s character essayed by the Tamil talented actor.
