India Vs Pakistan: Tollywood Must Think Twice!

The Indian Army has launched a rounded attack on Pakistan and things are not looking very promising for the latter. Nevertheless, the border regions in the northern part of India are facing extremely dangerous situations every night.

While the situation continues to deteriorate, it is perhaps time for Tollywood to be more watchful and focused on what’s happening.

Considering the fact that the BCCI has already called off IPL indefinitely, it might not take too long for possible preventive measures on Vietnam theatres as well.

Considering the volatile situation that is in effect, public gatherings and crowded places are to be avoided at all costs. The government had been continuously instructing the public to stay indoors and avoid public gatherings.

This could very well mean that cinema theatres might also have to be shut down if at all the situation worsens.

More importantly, the attention of the public is more aligned towards the warring situation and conflict resolution. So there might not be too much of attention that could be paid towards new films, henceforth.

This might be in for the next couple of weeks, at least or perhaps until the situation subsides completely. So Tollywood cannot go on a release spree and bring out new films each weekend. This might not be the strategy that would work for the industry, as a whole henceforth.
