Indian 2, Game Changer—ED Strikes!

It seems like nothing is going well for Tamil director Shankar, who once delivered memorable films. Recently, he faced back-to-back disasters with Indian 2 and Ram Charan’s Game Changer. Now, he is in shock after action from the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

According to reports, ED has attached assets worth approximately ₹10.11 crore linked to Shankar under Money Laundering Act.

The allegation is even more shocking—this action was triggered by a complaint accusing him of copying the story of his blockbuster Robo (Enthiran) without securing the rights. The original writer Aarur Tamilnadan took the matter to the Egmore Court in Tamil Nadu and filed a case against the director.

More details are awaited, but this development is truly shocking.

If the law is enforced this strictly for everyone, many directors could find themselves in trouble, including those in the Telugu industry. Recently, a popular Telugu top director also faced controversy over allegations of copying the story of a Mahesh Babu film.
