Industry Hit Remake is Not for Star Kid’s Debut?

Bollywood’s top producer cum filmmaker Karan Johar has acquired the Hindi remake rights of the industry’s hit movie ‘Sairat‘ from Marathi. With whom he might be planning the remake? Does he have plans to launch Sridevi’s daughter with this remake?

Karan Johar might launch Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor in the near future, but not probably with the remake of ‘Sairat’. In ‘Sairat’, the heroine is an innocent village girl. Going by the looks and the kind of grooming Jhanvi Kapoor is undergoing, one can’t imagine the girl in the village belle avatar in her debut movie.

So, this industry hit might not be for Jhanvi Kapoor’s launch as such a role doesn’t suit a fashionista like her. Karan is said to be on the lookout for an entirely fresh cast for playing the lead roles in the remake. Let’s wait and see who would be so lucky to be launched by Karan Johar.
