Intelligent wireless cameras monitoring Vizag

Chandrababu Naidu who is often called a Hitech Chief Minister is mulling on the idea od Hitech Traffic Monitoring for Vishakapatnam. The state government will very soon conduct test trials for signal synchronizing wireless CCTV cameras to be setup at key junctions of the port city.

The synchronizing signals were designed by a US-based company, they would monitor the traffic movement, and allow the next traffic system to change its signal according to the traffic flow. A temporary CCTV camera is set at Satyam Junction and its functioning is being studied.

If successful, the CCTV camera systems will be put up at major junctions in the city. This artificial intelligent wireless cameras system is the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh. The signals will be beamed to the control room at the Police Commissionerate round the clock, and will be monitored by a group of traffic police to check traffic violators.
