Is Chaitu after Nikhil directors?

The way projects are in discussion stages right now one can’t help but think if Naga Chaitanya is following the footsteps of hero Nikhil. Not that he needs to but that is way things are panning right now.

First the actor agreed to do a film with director Sudheer Varma which is currently on sets. This is from the director who made Swamy Ra Ra with Nikhil. And now there are reports which suggest that talks are going on between the actor and director Chandu Mondeti, the person who made Karthikeya once again a film featuring Nikhil in lead.

Going by these choices it is clear that Naga Chaitanya is looking at middle of the road sensible films which incidentally is the route Nikhil too is following with his films. Can this be seen merely as a coincidence or that Nikhil is a step ahead right now?
