Is Sridevi going to do Rana?

After ‘Baahubali’, ‘Puli is going to be the magnum opus from South which is garnering good expectations from North audiences also by virtue of the blockbuster ‘Baahubali’. Rajamouli has certainly earned respect for South movies in B’Town.

During ‘Baahubali’s promotions, Rana was a bit more highlighted for the Hindi version as he is a known face to Bollywood audiences. In similar manner, the makers of ‘Puli’ are now betting Sridevi as the face for promotions for Bollywood audiences as she had been one of the top heroines during her hay days.

Though Vijay’s posters are making hulchul in South, it is Sridevi posters from ‘Puli’ which are most used there. The present chairman of Central Board of Film Certification, Pahlaj Nihalani bagged the Hindi theatrical rights of the movie and is going to release it in 2000 theaters across India.
