The first common thing that strikes Jagapathi Babu when asked about Mahesh Babu is, they both don’t come out. This is the same answer given by Mahesh Babu in a recent interview that he comes out rarely into public after they moved into own house unlike when he used to live in an apartment.

Earlier, the relationship between Jagapathi and Mahesh was more cordial and now, Jagapathi says that they have become friends and hence there is more fun and entertainment. We know that Mahesh and Shruti are the hero and heroine of ‘Srimanthudu’.

But Jagapathi says there are about 7-8 heroes and heroines in the movie. It’s a multi-starrer opines Jagapathi Babu. Of course having star character artists like Jagapathi, Rajendra Prasad, Sukanya, young faces like Tejaswi and Rahul Ravindran etc, ‘Srimanthudu’ has the flavour of a multi-starrer.

For Jagapathi, nothing has changed pairing up with Sukanya after 25 years (Pedharikam), as he thinks the chemistry between them remains the same after 25 long years. Jagapathi is happy for the kind of business the film did and the hype built around Mahesh’s movie.
